Former International Academy of Collaborative Professionals President Ron Ousky is coming to sunny Tampa, Florida, March 4-5, 2016, for an advanced training on
Promises and Challenges:
Maintaining High Aspirations and Reasonable Expectations
(Strategies for getting the most out of promising collaborative cases and for achieving acceptable outcomes in the challenging cases)

If you are an attorney, mediator, financial professional, or mental health professional who is interested in increasing the quality of your collaborative law practice, then you should register immediately as today (Friday, January 29) is the last day to receive the early bird pricing. The training is hosted by Next Generation Divorce.
Ron is an internationally-acclaimed collaborative lawyer and co-author (with Collaborative Practice creator Stuart G. Webb) of the best-selling divorce book The Collaborative Way to Divorce: The Revolutionary Method That Results in Less Stress, Lower Costs, and Happier Kids – Without Going to Court. Ron was recently awarded the Lawyer as Problem Solver award by the American Bar Association.
On a personal level, Ron has changed the way I view collaborative practice and is one of my big influencers in deciding to practice exclusively out-of-court. I first met Ron at a conference of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals in 2013 and had the opportunity to sit down and speak with him. He discussed with me his “client-centered” notion of collaborative practice which took into account the client’s needs before recommending a model (i.e., lawyer-only, neutral facilitator, 2-coach, etc.). Ron shared his practice of meeting with both clients in divorce consultation so that they both hear the same information (a practice which I have now taken on and written about here). Ron also told me about Collaborative Alliance, an executive suite filled with collaborative professionals that he created.
I strongly encourage all collaborative professionals who want to learn from a truly cutting-edge leader to attend this two-day seminar. I hope to see you there.
