Family Diplomacy, Tampa Pride, and LGBTQ+ Families
Family Diplomacy is proud of our history of helping LGBTQ+ families since our establishment in 2010. Our sponsorship page includes the following snippet:
Family Diplomacy: A Collaborative Law Firm has been on the leading edge of LGBTQ+ family law since its inception. We were involved in the first same-sex divorce in Florida to challenge the state’s so-called “Defense of Marriage Act” and constitutional prohibition against recognition of same-sex relationships. Managing Attorney Adam B. Cordover (co-author of an American Bar Association book on Collaborative Family Law) has also presented on the unique challenges faced by Florida’s LGBTQ+ families at international forums, statewide conferences, and local organizations.
